Welcome to Architects@BHD

We are a RIBA Chartered Practice specialising in bespoke private & social residential development, conversion and commercial design across London and Home Counties, the South-East and the ‘OxCam Arc’

Who are Architects@BHD?

Architects@BHD Ltd, formerly Bob Harrington Design Ltd, have been creating buildings and places for the last 30 years, working on projects all over the South-East of England and the Midlands for a variety of Developers, Contractors and individual Clients all the way from the outset of a project to its completion.

The Practice encompasses a breadth of work to accommodate any Client from bespoke homes and extensions to conversions of older listed properties and heritage assets, commercial developments for private Clients as well as work with Housing Association’s and developers on a variety of large scale housing projects.

Now a RIBA Chartered Practice, our track record over the years has proven that Architects@BHD are equally as comfortable tackling smaller bespoke projects as we are master planning and detailing large development schemes.

Our Services

Architects@BHD Ltd offer the full range of architectural services to all our Clients from a projects conception to completion. These services normally begin by understanding and developing our Clients brief so that the eventual outcome is understood by everyone involved leading to a successful delivery of the Clients desired scheme.

After assessing the site and defining a strategy, Architects@BHD can undertake all the necessary elements needed for the concept and detail design for any scheme.

The Practice has built up a vast array of trusted Consultants that can be called upon when needed, adding vital experience to projects. We have an excellent understanding of the Planning system and have built lasting relationships with many Local Authorities for our Clients benefit.

We undertake the lead role to bringing together the construction package and deal with all applications and negotiations needed to make sure the project can be built to the most up to date standards and controls.
